Women are the strongest pillar of society and their empowerment is vital for the transformation and development of society. Women’s role is no longer limited to the households. They are engaged in income generating activities too. But are they getting equal wage as men? What kinds of problems and challenges are faced by the women in work place? Is the gender equality as mentioned in Sustainable Development Goal is taking some shape? Our grade 9 students tried to find the answer of this and several other questions related to gender equality and woman empowerment during their recent visit to Cotton Mill of Patan
