Students of grade 8, 9 and 10 went for educational excursion to Chitwan, Ghalegaun and Bandipur from 16th to 20th October 2019. The purpose of this trip was to participate in a variety of activities like short hikes, sightseeing, exploring the culture of rural life of Nepal and a new geography that provides them with valuable learning outside of their classroom environment.
In Ghalegaun they got a firsthand experience of village life in Nepal along with the mesmerizing view of sunrise and beautiful mountains. They went hiking to Bhujung, the largest Gurung village. They explored the local life of Nepali people, interacted with them and got acquainted with the Gurung culture. They were highly impressed with the hospitality that they received during theirhome stay. Besides these, the elephant ride in Sauraha, the visit to Shaswot Dham, the spectacular natural beauty of Bandipur, camp fire and live music, made the journey memorable.
